Video: Deer Tick – “Main Street”

Divine Providence – the new album from Deer Tick- is the kind of irreverent, alcohol fueled, roots rock that you can’t stop playing. The video for “Main Street” is a maybe a bit too “busy”. Some may feel it’s one of those videos that takes away from the actual song. Still, if you like your rock n roll mixed with a bit of Jackass, tons of fire and explosions, with a grand finale of gear destruction ala The Who but followed with urination on said gear (you just know that Keith Moon really wanted to go there) this is definitely worth a view. Truth be told, once I watched the video a second or third time, it bothered me less and less. Maybe even adding to the song at the end of the day just in the bad ass way the band is presented.
